I have been with Wakefield Pork for a year and a half. Within that time, I have been able to work with my husband at the same barn, Hector, although we are in different departments. I work in the breeding department and my husband is the manager. We are allowed to do this because Wakefield provides an excellent family and teamwork atmosphere. This atmosphere and culture Wakefield creates has shown me how much a company can care for the work we employees provide every day. They take the extra time and effort to make sure we are well-trained so we can do our best! It is this training and culture that makes me proud to work for such a great company and I look forward to growing with the company.
